21 December 2026 | 18:00 GMT
The Heseltine Gallery, Truro
Join us for a special Winter Solstice breathwork gathering in Truro as we honour the longest night of the year and the quiet turning towards light. The Winter Solstice offers a natural moment to pause, reflect and reconnect with ourselves as one season draws to a close and another begins. Through a guided Conscious Connected Breathwork journey, we’ll create space to slow down, listen inwardly, and acknowledge the year that has been – making room for whatever we may wish to release, honour or carry forward. Whether you’re new to breathwork or have experienced it before, this is an opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life, nurture your inner stability, and mark this seasonal turning point in a warm and supportive space. No previous experience needed. All welcome.

Conscious Connected Breathwork – Breathe & Renew: A Special Winter Solstice Celebration
The Winter Solstice marks a significant turning point in the seasonal cycle. It is the longest night of the year, a time when darkness reaches its peak and the gradual return of the light begins.
For centuries, people across different cultures have marked this seasonal threshold as an opportunity for reflection, renewal and connection. It reminds us that periods of stillness and darkness have their place in the natural cycle – creating space for rest, integration and new growth.
As the year draws to a close, it can be easy to become caught up in the demands of everyday life: doing, organising, caring and keeping everything moving. We don’t always give ourselves the time or space to acknowledge what we’ve experienced, recognise how far we’ve come, or listen to what we need as we move forward.
This special Winter Solstice gathering in Truro offers an opportunity to do just that.
Together, we’ll create space to step out of the usual rhythm of life and turn our attention inward. Through Conscious Connected Breathwork, you’ll be invited to slow down, connect with your body, and explore what arises when you give yourself time simply to breathe and listen.
This is not about forcing change or arriving with anything to fix. Rather, it’s an opportunity to meet yourself where you are, cultivate grounding and resilience, and reconnect with the inner resources that can support you through life’s changing seasons.
The Solstice invites us to honour both the darkness and the light – to acknowledge what has been, make space for what is ready to be released, and welcome the possibilities of a new cycle.
Whether you’re coming with a particular intention or simply feel drawn to take some time for yourself, you’ll be welcomed into a supportive space in which to explore your own experience.
What to Expect:
Opening
We’ll begin with a gentle introduction to the session and an explanation of the Conscious Connected Breathwork technique. You’ll be guided through what to expect and how to approach the practice in a way that feels manageable for you. We’ll also take a little time to settle, arrive in the space and consider any intentions you may wish to bring to this seasonal turning point.
Guided Breathwork Journey
You’ll be guided through a Conscious Connected Breathwork experience supported by a carefully curated musical journey. The practice involves connecting the inhale and exhale without deliberate pauses, with guidance to help you explore the breath at a pace that feels appropriate for you. Throughout the session, you’ll be encouraged to remain aware of your own experience and to adjust your breathing whenever needed. There is no particular feeling you need to reach or outcome you need to achieve. The invitation is simply to breathe, notice and listen, allowing space for your own experience to unfold.
Rest & Integration
We’ll close with time to rest and gently return our attention to the room, allowing space to settle after the breathwork experience. You’ll be welcome to reflect on anything that arose during the session, although sharing is entirely optional. You’ll also receive simple aftercare guidance to help you look after yourself in the hours and days that follow.
What to Bring:
A cosy blanket
A small pillow
A water bottle
A journal and pen (for any insights or intentions that you may wish to record directly after the session)
A light stomach – avoid heavy meals at least 2 hours before
Warm, loose, comfortable clothing, especially around your waist and chest
Cosy thick socks
Who Is It For?
This session welcomes both those who are completely new to Conscious Connected Breathwork and those who have experienced it before. You don’t need any previous knowledge or experience. The technique will be explained clearly, and you’ll be encouraged to stay connected to your own needs throughout the session.
Conscious Connected Breathwork is an active breathing practice and isn’t suitable for everyone. As part of the booking process, you’ll be asked to review the contraindications and complete a health declaration and waiver. If you have any questions or concerns about whether the practice is appropriate for you, please feel free to contact me before booking.
Please note, access to this venue involves climbing a flight of stairs.
Investment: £25
If the cost feels like a stretch right now, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the Contact Me page – I believe this work should be accessible to all, and I’m happy to explore options with you.

Welcome the returning light.
